Technique

  1. From a Straight-arm hang position, bend your knees while keeping your hips straight (this is the Half-layout position ).
  2. Engage your scapulas ( Shoulder depression and Shoulder retraction ) and pull your body upward.
  3. Go through the Half layout front lever position and keep going until the Inverted hang position, then reverse the motion.

Form tips

  1. Keep your body in the Half-layout position the whole time.
  2. Keep your arms straight.
  3. Keep your back straight.
