Static strength, novice

Duration: 35 minutes

This routine focusses on strength and endurance building for static skills, like L-sit, front & back lever variations. Mostly targeting core, back, shoulder and upper leg.

All exercises in this routine are isometric holds, helping build strength and joint stability. It is recommended to warmup with a short dynamic warmup routine from the Calistree library, for instance "Joint warmup".

Once you find it easy to hold an isometric hold for 30 sec. Consider exchanging it with a similar, but more difficult variation.

With a maximum hold time below 15 sec it is recommended to change to a similar but easier exercise.
