Technique

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, stepping on an elastic band and grabbing it at shoulder level.
  2. Press the band overhead, extending the arms fully.
  3. Lower the band back to shoulder level in a controlled manner.
  4. Inhale while lowering, exhale while pushing up.

Form tips

  1. Elbows should be facing more forward than to the sides.
  2. Tighten your core to support the spine throughout the movement.
  3. Maintain a straight posture; avoid leaning backward or arching your back.
  4. Keep the wrists over the elbows.
