Technique

  1. Hang from the rings with your feet on the ground and your body horizontal, just above the ground.
  2. Pull yourself up while driving your elbows out to the sides.
  3. Lower yourself back to the starting position with control.

Form tips

  1. Keep your core tight and your body straight: there should be a straight line from your feet to your shoulders.

Risks

  1. Pulling with the elbows out increases the risk of impingement. Fro this reason, it is advised to not perform this exercise too often.
