Technique

  1. From a seated position with legs in front of you, bring your legs into Lotus , right leg first.
  2. Lay down and use your hands on your back to lift the lotus, sit bones up.
  3. Take the hands on your knees and balance.

Form tips

  1. Take the chin away from the chest to put weight on the back of the head rather than on your neck.
  2. If you cannot balance with hands on the knees, keep them on your back.
