Technique

  1. Get into a Support position on parallel bars with straight arms.
  2. Engage your core and pull your legs up with knees bent as high as possible toward your chest.
  3. Slowly lower your legs back to the starting position with control.

Form tips

  1. Maintain strong Shoulder depression by pushing the bars away from your ears.
  2. Avoid swinging your body; the movement should be slow and intentional.

Risks

  1. Allowing the shoulders to shrug up can cause neck tension and reduce effectiveness.
