Technique

  1. Grab a bar or rings and flip your body backwards so that your torso is horizontal and your chest is facing down.
  2. The back is straight and horizontal.
  3. The thighs are also horizontal and aligned with the torso. The knees are bent at 90 degrees so that the legs point upward.

Form tips

  1. Resist the temptation to round your upper back: this makes the exercise easier but also less effective. Keep your chest opened and look forward.
