Technique

  1. Place a Short resistance band around your thighs, just above the knees.
  2. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, maintaining tension on the band.
  3. Take a small step sideways while squatting down and pulling your knees out.
  4. Stand back up while bringing the back foot in.
  5. Take the same amount of steps to each side.
  6. Repeat and work on both directions.

Form tips

  1. Ensure the knees align with the toes and don’t collapse inward.
  2. Maintain tension on the Short resistance band throughout the exercise.
  3. Keep your chest up and your back straight while squatting.
