Technique

  1. Stand up, step on an elastic band, grab it and move it behind your back, with your elbow pointing upward.
  2. Extend at the elbow to get your arm fully extended overhead.
  3. Bend your elbow, lowering the band behind your back, keeping the upper arm close to your ear.

Form tips

  1. Keep your elbow close to your head, pointing forward throughout the movement; resist the temptation to let it flare out to the side.
  2. Engage your Abs to stabilize your body and avoid arching your back.
  3. Control the movement, focusing on using the Triceps to extend the arm.
