The flyer will keep their shape while the base bends their arms and lowers the flyer's sacrum to one foot, then placing the other foot on the flyer's sacrum.
The flyer will raise their chest to maintain a Back bird before lowering their feet to the base's hands, which are ready to catch the flyer's feet near their hips.
At this point you should be in a Low foot-to-hand and the flyer should be hinging at the hips to place the base's feet on their shoulders.
The base will give a slight push on the flyer's feet to assist them into the star position, while the flyer reconnects the Hand-to-hand grip with the base.
To exit, the flyer will slowly bring their feet to the ground from any of the positions.
Form tips
The Low foot-to-hand grip is the inner 2 knuckles on the toe ball, and the thumb and outer 2 knuckles on the outside of the foot.
The knuckles of the base's pointer and middle fingers will press into the flyer's foot to properly counterbalance their weight.
When in the low foot-to-hand, the flyer should think about keeping their hips and gaze forward, while pointing their toes down the base's wrists.
When going back into the Star shape, be sure to place the flyer's shoulders closer to the base's toes.
