Flyer will arch their back and slowly bring their shoulders to the base's hands.
The flyer will grip downward on the base's forearms.
At this point the flyer should be facing the base with the base's hands on their shoulders and the flyer's hands pushing down on the base's forearms.
The flyer will unhook their legs and bring them into a deep pike while the base uses their feet to assist them.
The flyer will then slowly drop the back of their thighs to the base's feet while the base brings their knees past their chest to receive the flyer.
Base extends the legs while the flyer sits up, going back into the reverse straddle throne. From here you both can choose to repeat the flow or exit by lowering the flyer to the ground.
Form tips
It is important for the flyer to maintain an engaged Core the entire time, especially when arching the back.
The base will be careful to bend arms and legs when receiving the weight of the flyer during transitions.
When the flyer is bringing their feet over their head and into the hard pike, the base can help guide their legs with their toes.
When gripping the flyer's shoulders, the base's fingers should be on the top of the flyer's chest and their thumbs should be towards the back of the flyer's neck.
