Technique

  1. Step the feet apart, wider than shoulder width with the toes facing forward.
  2. Keeping the hands on the hips, exhale to fold forward from the hips and lower the head.

Form tips

  1. Try to move from the hips, feeling the rotation in the hip joint, and taking the feet wider or narrower as needed for balance and flexibility.
  2. Keep the legs engaged and the feet planted evenly from the toes to heels, and inside-outside edges.
