Technique

  1. Sit on the ground and place your hands on the sides, in front of the hips.
  2. Push on your hands to lift your butt off the ground.
  3. Keep one heel on the ground and lift the other leg up, by contracting your hip flexors.

Form tips

  1. Push your shoulders down ( Shoulder depression ).
  2. Keep both legs straights.
  3. If your Hamstrings are very tight and prevent you from lifting the leg up, do some Pike fold / Forward fold stretches to gain flexiblity.
