Technique
- From a standing position, bring the sole of one foot to the inside edge of the opposite calf.
- Externally rotate the bent leg to bring the knee to the side, while keeping a steady, tall stance.
- Gaze forward.
- Press the palms together in front of the chest in Prayer Position.
- Focus on developing strength and stability in the standing foot, leg and hip.
Form tips
- Keep the gaze and breath steady to help with balance.
- Stamp down into the standing leg to keep it active and retain balance.
- Press the palms together firmly to bring awareness to the center line of the body and retain balance.
