Technique

  1. Stand with the balls of your feet on a ledge or at the top of a slant board and hinge at the hips to place your hands on a support, back straight parallel to the floor.
  2. Slowly lower your heels below the ledge level, then drive them up as high as possible into an Ankle plantarflexion .

Form tips

  1. Use a slow, controlled tempo and avoid bouncing at the bottom.
