Start in L-base , with the flyer standing at the base's tailbone in a Horse stance and the partners holding a Clasped hand grip .
The base flexes the feet ( Ankle dorsiflexion ) with the toes on the middle of the flyer's inner thighs.
The flyer leans forward and bends the knees slightly so the base can find the arch of the foot on the flyer's thighs.
The flyer wraps the feet around the front of the base's ankles and hooks them on the base's calves, and the base extends the legs.
The flyer sits up, pressing the legs into the base's ankles while engaging the Glutes , Core and Hip adductors .
To exit, lower the flyer to reconnect at the hands, then the flyer unwraps the legs and brings the feet to the ground.
Form tips
Both partners engage the Hip adductors and Core in the full position.
Foot placement varies from person to person: aim for the middle of the thigh and find the best position for you both. It is typically closer to the knee than to the hip.
