Technique

  1. Step the feet apart, wider than shoulder width with the toes facing forward.
  2. Clasp the fingers behind the back and inhale to straighten the arms in preparation.
  3. Exhale to fold forward from the hips, lowering the head, and if possible, lift the arms away from the back.

Form tips

  1. For tight shoulders, hold a strap between the hands to allow some space for the shoulders to rotate.
