Technique

  1. Place your upper back on a Stability ball and your feet flat on the ground, with the legs opened to provide stability.
  2. Extend your arms up to a vertical position and join your hands together.
  3. Twist to one side, bringing your straight arms to a horizontal position and your shoulders facing to that side, without moving your knees.
  4. Slowly come back to the starting position, then repeat on the other side.

Form tips

  1. Aim to twist without moving your knees and with only a small movement happening at the hips.
  2. Keep your hips at the same level as your shoulders and knees the whole time.
