The base lies face up and places the feet on the flyer's shins, while the flyer bends over slightly to connect a Clasped hand grip .
The flyer hops or rocks onto the base's feet, keeping the knees bent at 90 degrees.
The base extends the legs while the flyer actively pushes the shins into the base's feet, and the base presses the toes into the flyer's shins to keep a strong point of contact.
To exit, the base bends the knees to reconnect at the hands and lowers the flyer back to the ground.
Form tips
Exact foot placement is personal, but most people put the big toe on one side of the shin and the other toes on the other side.
Both partners engage the Core and Hip adductors , and the flyer also engages the Glutes to press the hips slightly forward.
