Base and flyer begin standing and facing each other.
Base and flyer grip each other's elbows, base finds a Chair pose and flyer will place their foot across the base's thighs, just above their knees.
After they Tempo together, flyer will take a small leap and step up on the leg posted on the base, while the other leg comes between their arms and around the back of the base's neck.
Flyer will flex their toes hard to "hook" around the base's neck.
While maintaining contact with both hands, slip your grip down to each other's wrists.
Once stable, release the flyer's outside arm and maintain contact with the flyer's inside arm.
To exit, reconnect at both hands, then flyer will unhook the top foot and place it back on the ground.
Form tips
Flyer, your bottom foot will end up just above the base's knees, or around the middle of their thighs.
Base, the more you sit, the better a "shelf" you create for your flyer to stand on.
Base, when flyer's foot is hooked, extend the neck to hold the foot in place. It will feel like you're trying to look up.
Remember this is a counterbalance, so lean back to find your balance, and trust each other.
