Tuck handstand with 2 fingers support
Skill Tree
Technique
- Hold a stable Tuck handstand : knees squeezed together, thighs about parallel to the floor.
- Look at the base hand, around the first knuckle of the thumb or index finger.
- Shift the tucked hips slightly diagonally over the base hand, matching the diagonal of the shoulders, with the opposite hip above the base hand.
- Push the base hand hard into the floor for more Shoulder flexion backward and Shoulder elevation , as if pushing the shoulder up to the ear.
- Let the other hand tent up until only 2 fingertips touch the ground, and hold.
Form tips
- Don't lift the fingers of the base hand on purpose: they should tent up as a reaction to the shoulder push.
