Technique

  1. From a standing position take a small step forward with the working leg, the back foot slightly turned out.
  2. Hinge at the hip to lean your torso forward
  3. Go as low as the flexibility of your front leg allows, then return to upright engaging the glutes and hamstrings.

Form tips

  1. Keep your back straight and avoid rounding the spine during the hinge.
  2. The back leg is only for balance and support
