This exercise should be done when the Handstand with 1 finger support can be done consistently for about 10 seconds.
To perform the finger tap from the one finger support position, push a bit harder through the base hand. This extra push should allow the finger of the support hand to lift off the ground momentarily. Avoid simply picking up the finger of the support hand and concentrate on the push of the base hand.
Return to either a Handstand with 1 finger support or a Handstand with 5 fingers support .
Complete 5 controlled repetitions per side before advancing to more challenging skills and drills.
