Technique

  1. From a standing position, slowly slide your feet out to the sides as far as possible.
  2. Continue lowering until your pelvis touches the floor or you reach your limit.
  3. Place your hands on a elevated surface or on the ground in front of you for support if needed.

Form tips

  1. Keep your torso as vertical as possible.
  2. Breathe deeply to encourage muscle relaxation.
