Deep pushup (Stretch pushup, Parallettes pushup)

Technique

  1. Start in a Plank position, with your hands on Parallettes .
  2. Perform a Pushup , going past your hands on the way down. The lower you go, the more stretch you'll get. This strengthens and stretches your chest muscles at the same time.
  3. Push yourself back up to the starting position.

Form tips

  1. Keep your Abs engaged and a posterior Pelvic tilt .
  2. Keep your head neutral (do not crane forward).
