Sagittal symmetry

The sagittal plane divides the body into left and right sides down the center line.

Sagittal symmetry refers to how both sides are affected by a movement, relatively to each other, in terms of timeline and stimulus.

Bilateral

Both sides of the body work at the same time and perform the same amount of work.

If using weights, indicate the total weight used.

Unilateral

One side is doing most of the work before switching to the other side, ideally for the same number of repetitions (or time held).

If one side is weaker and you wish to strengthen it, start with that side, then perform the same repetitions (or hold time) on the stronger side.

The smaller amount between both sides is counted by the app for the total amount.

If using weights, indicate the weight lifted by one side on each line.

Alternate sides

Each side works in alternance. Completing a full cycle, where each side works once, counts as one repetition.

If using weights, indicate the weight lifted by one side.

Circles

In each repetition cycle, one side works concentrically while the other works eccentrically, or one side works in one direction while the other side works in the other direction.

Each circle completed counts as one repetition.

Perform the same number of circles in each direction, either alternating between directions or completing one direction at a time.
