Progressive overload

Progressive overload is one of the fundamental principles of effective training. It simply means placing a slightly greater demand on your body over time - whether by increasing reps, sets, intensity, or exercise difficulty.

The key is consistency, not extremes. One very hard session won't drive long-term progress, and pushing too far too fast often leads to injury. Instead, aim to do just a little more than last time, and repeat that week after week. These small improvements compound into meaningful results.

This approach is built into Calistree: your training gradually evolves with you, increasing volume and introducing more challenging variations when you're ready.
