Technique

  1. Begin standing with a Barbell or small weights held overhead, arms fully extended.
  2. Step forward into a lunge while keeping the weight held overhead.
  3. Lower your body until both knees are at a 90-degree angle, then push back up to the starting position.
  4. Return the front foot to meet the back foot and repeat the lunge on the opposite side.

Form tips

  1. Maintain an upright torso throughout the movement.
  2. Ensure your front knee is aligned with your toes when stepping forward.
